Hi everyone. I'm somewhat new to switches in general, but very new to Avaya switches.
I have several Avaya ERS 5520 switches in my environment. We are using IP phones on these switches, with the computers directly connected through the back of the phones. All switches are running 6.2.4.011 software.
When we unplug these phones, it removes the ports from the list of members of the voice VLAN. We plug them in, and it puts them back. While that is ok, it can be a little disturbing to my manager and doesn't want that to happen.
On 2 of these switches, we've had them suddenly remove almost all ports from the voice VLAN without warning.
Are these due to spanning tree removing them or is it a bug?
Thanks!
Bill
