Automatic update problems with netware 3.1x and w2k pro

when attempting to "download" the update files from the novell server to the w2k pro machine, inoculan gives an "error connecting to the server" and "could not connect to file". The client machine maps to the novell "sys" volume fine, and I can browse to the files I need, copy them to the local hard drive, and point innoculan there. It then updates fine. I've tried both the UNC and mapped local drive methods...

By the way, everything is peachy with the win98 machines...

Anybody out there have any suggestions?
