automatic update of imported table

Hi

Here's the dig:

There is an excel file (day end stock prices) that is downloaded from the net. It needs to imported into access as a table. How does one setup an automatic update of the access table to correspond to the new excel file downloaded at the end of the day.

Hi

You need to create a 'Link Table' in Access and link it to the Excel sheet. Assuming the Excel sheet has the same name each time, the Access table, and therefore anything based on, will remain current as per the latest spreadsheet.
