Automatic signature is not added to email template after opening

Dear all,

I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003 with Word as email editor.
I have created some email templates which I want to be used by different people. I have published the templates in a Sharepoint library and it is working that everybody can open the templates and use them.

I have though found the following problem:
To create the emails I had to disable WORD as editor to create the opt file. I tested the template while WORD was still deactivated and it worked fine that my email signature was automatically attached.
After I reactivated the WORD editor again the signature was not attached anymore.
I can change this forth and back. As long as I do use WORD as email editor my signature is not attached. When I choose not to use it my signature is appended.
As setting I have selected to append my signature to both:
SIgnature for new emails
Signature for replies and forwards.

Can anybody help me how to enable my Outlook to also attach the signature to the .opt when WORD is selected as mail editor?
