Automatic Selecting Text when scrolling in a block

When using the arrow keys to navigate records in a block, the value in the item is selected as if I want to copy and paste the value.

How do I turn this off?

Unfortunately its a feaure of forms. Try setting the 'keep cursor position' to yes. I cant guarantee it will work though.
