AUTOMATIC ROUNDING IN PEACHTREE

Hello,
I'm backing up data in Peachtree 2005 and moving it over to another computer which has 2005 installed. However, when I try to make a sales entry, there seems to be automatic rounding for all entries. For example, if I enter 2 units for 2.25, instead of 4.50 coming out, it comes out as 5 dollars. All entries are being rounded to the nearest whole number. Is there any way to fix this? Please help, thanks.

Check your preferencs. Sounds like you have the new system set to round.

Hi, I am experiencing the same rounding problem. I have just installed Peachtree and set up my company. When I looked up the rounding settings, it says Manual, so I do not understand why the numbers i enter into my chart of accounts still get rounded to the nearest whole number. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Check how many decimal places you have set to display. That can affect this,too.

thanks for the info stbill. i checked and it is set to 2 decimal places but the numbers still come up rounded without any decimal places at all. any ideas?
