I have set up a filter which automatically replies to any incoming messages with a stationery message I have created. This works, however the reply does not look very good. The problem is that if the sender's message is long, the stationery text is appended to the bottom of the message and could easily not be seen. I have specified to skip messages over 1K but this is still quite a lot of plain text lines.
Ideally I would like one of the following to happen. Either:
1. Eudora downloads just the message header and not the message body, so the reply only contains the text from the stationery, or
2. Eudora places the stationery text at the top of the message, with the original message quoted underneath, or
3. Eudora replies without quoting the original message. There is an option in Outlook Express called "Include message in reply" which does this function.
Are any of these able to be done in Eudora? I'm using 5.2.0.9 for Windows. I'm happy with modifying Eudora.ini or whatever it takes. Any help would be much appreciated.
