automatic recovery

We have an application, Eudora, that resides on Netware 5.1.
On two occasions, someone has had there file in.mbx corrupted and so the out.mbx of another user is copied into the in.mbx. Is this something that could be done automatically by Netware? We have the Btrieve module loaded.
