This is for the Gurus<br><br>I have an Oracle 8i database which is on Sun solaris 2.7. I have created the script for auto starting the database when the system boots and stopping when it shuts down. The problem is, the code doesn't respond properly ( I used the code came with the installation manual).<br><br>As per the code the database will only warm start. How can I start it for operations? Should I do it manually?<br><br>
