Hi all,
I have a registry update file which I can execute to create 3 ODBC connections which I use in an access front end used for reporting.
This all works fine, except if I need to then create another linked table using one of the ODBC connections. When I create these ODBCs using the registry update, the connections work but dont appear in the ODBC manager, and therefore I cannot select them. Is there a way round this?

Are you updating both sets of keys? I can't recall offhand but there's an odbcini and an odbc sub-hive. I've done the same thing and I see all of mine in the odbc dialog.

Don't forget this key:
...\ODBC\odbc.ini\ODBC Data Sources

Hope This Helps, PH.
