I need to insert 300 numbers in InDesign CS2 (from 1 to 300, 3 per page). Is it possible to do it automatically, so that I don't have to insert every single number?
I'm lost ...

Thanks

This question is similar to the often asked question: 'how do I number tickets in InDesign?' This question can be Googled to find a few options.

You can create a plain text file with these numbers, one per line. This is easy to do in any spreadsheet program. Then create a master page in InDesign with three threaded text frames. Each frame is only large enough to hold one line of the numbered text file. Add the number of pages needed (100) and then go to page one. Use File->Place to get the numbered text file. With the cursor loaded, hover over the first text frame and hold the SHIFT key. Click and it should flow the 300 lines through all 100 pages.
