Hi all,

I'm a new user of this forum and a new user of SNMP. so please don't worry if I do mistakes. :)

I've download all the source packqge of net-snmp.
I've extended my MIB while creating a ASN1 file and then using mib2c to auto generate C sources files.

I've modify the source file to make it work and I'm able to to snmpget and snmpset on my OIDs.

My problem is that now I wanted to associate my OIDwith my hardware/software system.
For example. I wanted that My OID value is 0 if a specific TCP socket is open and 1 if this specific socket is closed.

How can I manage the OID to change automaticly?

thanks for your help.
