On a 3300ICP system:

When a phone goes off hook to make a call, its primary extension is automatically selected. Is it possible to program the phone so that some other extension that appears on the phone (e.g. a bridged extension appearance) is automatically selected instead of the primary?

If so, is it also possible to program the phone so that no extension is automatically chosen when the phone goes off hook, and the user has to manually select a line to make a call?

as far as I know the system will always select the primary line when the phone goes off hook.

you can enable ringing line select in the cos of the phone to allow the phone to be answered on any ringing line by simply picking up the handset.

as far making calls I doubt it, but someone else could perhaps shed some light on this

The COS option for Multiline - Automatic Outgoing Line can be turned off. When the handset is lifted, the display will read "Select Line".

This is a very annoying setup and not very user friendly.

As far as defining which key is selected, I only know that this is definable with the SX-200. If it can be done on the 3300, I don't know how.
