Automatic Inventory

We are using Arcserve2000. Every day the DLT tapes are changed and a manual inventory is run. Does anybody know how I can schedule a daily automatic inventory without having to logon to the server? Thanks in advance.

Use windows scheduler... Write a script for stopping & starting arcserve tape engine..

This will help.... DatabaseBaba...

You can creat a script like this: c:\arcserveit\chgtest -a changer:2 inventory startslot:1 endslot:7

Thanks Luis, this is what we were looking for. A BAT-file was written and scheduled one hour before the backup started. All was working fine and backups are running without any intervention now!

Ok, sorry to ask such a dumb question but why do you do a manual inventory daily? If you are manually changing the tape daily and it is a changer can't you just dismount and mount the tape?
