Automatic Internet Connection

My Internet connection with the ISDN modem works fine but
I'm not able to activate the automatic connection to the Internet when my browser or the Lan request it.
Can anyone help me???

Hi

Assuming you have the isdn4k-utils rpm or equvalent installed you can set autodial like this :

/usr/sbin/isdnctrl dialmode ippp0 auto

On redhat, pre 7.2, there was a 'isdn-config' util that had the option of 'auto' or 'manual' somewhere in the settings tabs. With 7.2 you run the 'Red Hat Network Administration Tool' (command 'neat') for everything and that no doubt has a similar setting.
