I am using aspect telset at work and have been accused of putting myself to the back of the queue by pressing release and ready. The report that the manager runs is showing "automatic idle no reason" 00:00 seconds in some instances it shows about eight instances of it one after the other. Is there any other way this result could be created. I am absolutely adamant that I am not doing this.

If your Call Center is set up for idle reason codes, and an agent goes into an idle state but does not enter AND confirm a reason code within 5 minutes, the call center automatically signs him off with a system defined default code. That code is seen on reports as the 'automatic idle/no reason' code.

Are you running Network InterQ between multiple ACD's by any chance?

A manager has run a few tests for me and we have discovered that whenever the idle "y" soft key is used it produces this automatic idle no reason outcome on the report.

Thanks, thats quite an interesting quirk to know about.
