I´m developing a database for a non profit organisation.
What we need is to check if a teacher is working with a certain group and automatical fill in the name in a field in the group memeber database. So we do not need to fill in the name of the teacher on every card in the member database.
The groups have number from 1 to 7 and onthe card of the teacher the are checked or not. This is a logical field that returns the value true or false.
My idee is that the field on the member card "looks" at this value en fill in the name from the teacher if the value is true.

Thanks
Franc

Just on the surface it sounds as though there might be a data normalization issue with your overall design. Could you post the structure of each table? Then I can perhaps have a better understanding of what you need.
