Automatic Emailing From Access 97

This may sound odd, but is it possible for access 97 to automactically send an email to a user when the book is due back?
if so, please tell me how.

beyond mail supports dde you should be able to use it directions are in the rulebook admins guide and alittle in the users guide. and dde needs to be turned on by the BM admin on that mailbox
