The sender of some Lotus email wanted the recipients to make use of a lotus database he had created. To avoid manual creation of the database by the recipients, the sender embedded some form of automation in the email that would automatically create the database icon on the recipient workspace. What is the method used to accomplish such a task ? THANKS.

If I understand your question right, the easiest thing to do is have the database creator send a memo to the recipients with a database link (explained below). When the recipients click on the database link, the database will open and it's icon will automatically populate on their Workspace page.

To create a database link:
1. From the Workspace page, the database creator would select the icon for the new database (Single-click); then from the menu select Edit...Copy As Link...Database Link.
2. Create a New Memo, and in the Body of the message press Ctrl-v to paste the Database link, or from the menu select Edit...Paste.

This all assumes the database in question is accessible to the intended recipients, e.g. it's not a local database on the creators workstation.
