I dont know why I cant seem to find the info I need on this - I even opened a TAC case and the Cisco tech told me he didnt know the answer...

How can I get my ASA 5520 to "push" client updates to users? I do see the client update settings on the ASA but cant make an http URL work to push the executable from an IIS server.

Im wondering if I can use ftp or something else?

My real question is this: Cant the ASA just push updates to users who connect and update them in a silent mode? The Cisco tech said it could but we even tested connecting a client from the outside and running the update .exe and it right away told us we needed to close the VPN. If I am pushing an update and it closes the VPN the upgrade will break.

Any easy way to push out VPN client updates with Cisco would be greatly appreciated. (and please dont tell me to use SMS...)

Thx in advance
