Automatic Call Recordings

We are using the automatic call recordings feature. However, when the call is being recorded - it displays REC on the display phones. Is there any way to get around this?? Our techs have realized what calls are recorded and which calls are not...

It is an option in the System Configuration within Manager. On the SYSTEM tab there is a checkbox for HIDE AUTO RECORDING, make sure this box is checked.
