I took some long exposures of Niagara Falls at night, to capture the different lights on the falls. When I bring the photos into the Paint Shop Pro X3 organizer, everything looks good. However, when I call up the individual photos for editing, some sort of automatic brightness adjustment is going on which changes the original photo histogram and washes out the colours (Canadian spelling of colours, BTW). I can't find anything in preferences that will stop this and I can't find a way to revert the photo to the original Nikon RAW file. Does anybody have any tips on how to change the setup so that this doesn't happen? Thanks for your help.
