Automatic Answer Upon Pickup

We have a Partner ACS 4.1. There is a phone that will not automatically answer the ringing line. Instead when the handset is lifted it defaults to an open line. We would like for it to automatically pick up the ringing line. We have automatic line selection already programmed, but I guess that is outgoing only? Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like that phone is set NOT to ring on incoming calls. If that phone doesn't ring, you have to press the ringing line to answer it. Change to immediate ring, if you want to be able to just pick up the handset.

I think HYTECH nailed it. Turn on ringing for that extension. They are probably hearing another extension ringing.
