Just a suggestion, but you might want to look into setting up a Company Calendar. This way all users will have it in their Cabinet (or where ever they want to place it). And you can also setup what users (if any) you want to add, delete, or modify any entries. It's really simple and quick to do. Basically all it is is a shared folder with a calendar view set. Just one place to go that shows a user what Company events and Holidays there are for the year. Have a good one!
