Automated Upload of XLS file into Upfront

Hi,

Does anyone know how automatically upload xls files into a specific folder in upfront? Rather than going into upfront and selecting upload file under the new menu.

I believe there are XML commands to accomplish this. I thought it was covered in the Upfront Developer's guide.

Sorry, I was meaning xls spreadsheet. I think a script is the way to go about this, but just can't figure a way to do this. Can anyone help please?
