Automated Un-Install?

I am working on a script to upgrade our 250 Progress databases (that reside on 250 separate servers) from Progress 8.3a to Progress 9.1d. These are all running on Windows NT servers. I have the automated install working fine. However, one of the first steps of the upgrade is to un-install 8.3a. Have have made many attempts to automate this to no avail. Any ideas?

In case anyone is ever interested.... This appears to be a Progress bug. Progress was able to duplicate the behavior. No word yet on a solution.
