Is there a quick way to write a batch file / script so I can run an automated install of say 10 programs ?

This would be after installation of the OS, in this case XP SP2

you would have to look at each program and see what it can do. if you wanted to script the installs by automated clicking I would suggest the AutoIt software.

Have you ever looked at Iexpress.exe in the System32 folder?
