Hi!
I'm trying to "attach" an automated e-mail to a form that submits data into a database.

The form works, and the database receives the data, but now I'm now trying to get the form, on submit, to send an automated if the YES radio button is selected.

Does anybody know if this is possible and if so, how? Can I do it using HTML or would I have to use JavaScript (or a similar language i.e. VBScript)?

Thanks
:)

You're presumably using some kind of script - Perl, PHP, ASP, etc. - to receive the form values and insert them into the database. Your best option would be to amend this script to send an email too. It's difficult to offer any firm advice without knowing more about your set-up. What language is the script written in, and is your web server on unix or windows?

Hi Chris

The script I'm using is ASP, at the moment the Site is on my PC so it's IIS and Windows 2000, eventually it will be on the company Intranet.

Your help is much appreciated!

Thanks

Jane
