I would like to make automated backups (SNAPSHOT specifically) of my SQLBase databases. I have tried using the scheduling feature of SQLConsole, however the backups don't seem to run unless the SQLConsole program is open. So I scheduled the SQLConsole program to open 15 minutes before the backup using Windows Scheduler. This did not work and every time I open the SQLConsole, it tells me there are scheduled events that have been missed.
I am setting up these tasks on a server where noone is logged in at the times I would like these tasks to run.
What am I doing wrong?
(I have also tried a batch file with SQLTalk, but I can't get past the <F5> to run my script and the window where it asks me to confirm the overwrite of the backup file).

Thank you so much for your help.
