Hi all...
I just replaced a Partner Plus R3.0 processor with a Partner II 4.0 and at the same time added a PartnerMail VS R4.1 module. My problem is that when I dial any of the four lines connected to the system, the automated attendant always answers then transfers the call to Ext. 10. What I want is for all calls to ring to Ext. 10 during the day and have the attendant pick them up at night. I've been through everything I can think of to no avail. Is there something I should be doing here that I'm not? Is there a way that I can reset the processor to factory defaults to start again?
Any replies appreciated,
Jason

Did you check the VMS Hunt Schedule (#507)? It should be set to "Night Only". Or, I think it is #989 CLEAR or #989 TNECUL (I Can't remember which one....) to reset the system back to default values. Hope this helps.

You don't have the Voice Mail Ports in Hunt Group No. 7

First determine the Extension Numbers for the Voice Mail ports. VS Mail uses either the last 2 or last 4 ports, depending on which version you have.

At Ext. 10 or 11:

FEATURE 00
LEFT Intercom Twice

#505-7-XX-1 (where XX is the Ext. No. of the VM Port)
#306-XX-10
Do this for each VM Port

Assign the Lines to Group Call Dist 7:

#206-7-XX-1 (where XX is the Line No.)
Do this for each line you want answered by the Auto Attendant.

Set the Auto Attendant answer delay rings:

#506-X (where 1=Immediate[2 rings] or 2=Delayed[4 rings])

Set the answer mode:

#507-X (where 1=Always, 2=Day Only, 3=Night Only)
