Hi Folks

I am having the exact same issue that Craig had all them years ago (see above thread) but he didn't appear to find a solution.

Does anyone have the answer?

This is how I do it, Neil:

DECLARE INTEGER SetForegroundWindow IN WIN32API INTEGER
SetForegroundWindow(thisform.HWnd)
CLEAR DLLS "SetForegroundWindow"

Give it a try.

Many thanks for the snippet.

Unfortunately this didn't work either.

So what I have decided to do, is use the TakeWindow function (that is in the FAQ) to pull the window into the application, and then 'force' the user to minimise the form when they need to access the 3rd party window. Should be alright for now!
