Does anyone know how to use winzip to compress files via vba coding in an efficient manner. Our reports are often too big to handle via email and currently a sendkeys operation acheives the desired result but it occassionly does not compress all the required files.

Hiya,
there's some code here that might be useful - it doesn't use Shell but uses AIPs OpenProcess and WaitForSingleObject to call Winzip using VBA to unpack / pack an Excel file. The code = for a single file, but can be easily adapted to handle more files
