I'd like to change the default open and save location within my Microssoft office applications. In MS word I know i can go to tools>options>file locations and then change where I'd like to change the path to be. My question is does anyone no a way that I can automate this change for all office applications & for all my users on the network. Is there a place in the registry that holds this particular setting?

Yes, the registry. For example in Word you can call Word.Options.DefaultFilePath() to read/write the this information. The functionality exists across the entire office suite but the implemenation is not consistent.

You should be able to search the object browser in other applications to find the appropriate property calls.
