short of that you would have to use the Adobe SDK Toolkit to program with the API to split or merge.

Here is a brain teaser for you all. I need to split a huge file not simply into individual pages. but i need to split and name the individual file a partnumber that is located within the page.
i have a binder of approx. 1,225 pages and need them split into individual pages and renamed using a string of text found in each page. note: the string of text happens to be a part number in my case. The good news is that all the part numbers start with a certain letter followed by numbers; ex: R1234 . PLEASE HELP!!
