automate Out of Office agent??

I have a user who only works on Tuesday to Thursday, and has asked me to set up her Out of Office agent so it automatically switches on every Friday morning and then switches off again on Monday evening.

At the moment she does this manually, but often forgets or doesn't have time to do it, and would like it to kick in without any intervention from her.

We are using Notes R5.0.12 (with XP) and I'd prefer to run this on the client rather than the server if possible.

The NotesAgent class contains a property called IsEnabled.
Therefor, it is quite possible to design an agent that modifies this property at specific times in the week.

Unfortunately, you will not escape running the agent on the server - since it has to be scheduled and placed in the user's mailbox code.
