well, you can make a command button in access do this for you, you will just need to code it in vb... and then put it into the on click event on the form...
you can even automate it even more if you want to... make it do every thing it needs to in a query, then just run access with a command line switch to run the query, and put that into windows (or another one) scheduler... and that will realy automate it for you... hope this helps...

I may be wrong, but I think Access might have a little problem knowing about the Oracle database running over on that Unix box...or is ODBC that smart???
I believe that MOST of your work is going to have to be done on the Unix box - and I'm clueless there. Check the Oracle forums here, if you haven't already.
