Automate Data Import

I populate an Access database with data from another system. Has anyone every coded this process, i.e. go to disk, pick up an import file and then apply to an Access import spec? Thanks

You can use a macro to do this. Under design view, there are options under Actions to transfer text/spreadsheet/database. Select whichever option, and then you can specify where the file should be imported using an import spec and declaring the table name.
