Greetings All:

I have a challenge of creating a bar chart from three cells in a Word table. My document has many tables (all the same design) with unique data for each.

I have been able to creat a chart using VBA---but cannot seem to get it to read the table data to do so.

I can email a one page Word file upon request.

Any help is most welcomed. Thank you.

hi,

Charts in Office 2007+, in Word, in PowerPoint etc are ALL EXCEL Charts. You will notice if you INSERT a Chart into Word, that Excel opens and the default DATA TABLE & Chart are in Excel.

So if I were you, I'd do the entire thing in Excel! Using Word for Tables and Charts is like using a knife as a screwdriver. It's possible, but not the ideal tool for a pro!

Skip,
