Does anyone know if it is possible to set the autofill email address list to show a shared contact list instead of (or as wll as, if necessary) showing local addresses? At the moment, I can only get local addresses offered, which is proving to be a major hassle. Any help would be much appreciated.

You mean the autofill that pops up when you start typing a name/address? That's populated by successful email being sent to that name/address. If you send a message and it bounces, it typically gets removed from that list. You can also highlight a name on that list and delete it.

It's called the nickname file, and it resides on the local machine. It can be manually deleted.

So, it's not really made of one list or another. It's made of names you've sent to in the past.
