Autofill crashes excel 2002

Hey Gurus, This is not a vba question, just an excel issue. This has just started happening (for no apparent reason). If I open excel (a new or exisitng document) and click any cell and then try and autofill it down (or up or sideways) it immediately crashes excel. It doesnt matter if there is data in the cell or not. I havent tried re-installing yet, but would like to know if anyone has encountered this problem and if anyone knows of a fix (without having to reinstall).

Ignore this post. Logging off and logging back on has cured it. How wierd is that...........
