Is there a way to run a module or a function in a class without having to use either a strtup form or the autoexec macro?

Thanks

How about the Open or Load event of the startup form?

I don't understand - you were after something that doesn't use the startup form. But if you now want to use it, of course you can run code from the Open or Load event of a form. Please answer PWise's and TheAceman1's questions if you want any more help.

So what happen to [blue]sparkbyte?[/blue]

Sorry for the delay.. Had something my boss put me on that had me tied up.

As you know, with an ADP, when you launch it it 1st attempts to connect to the "default" DB backend. I was wanting to override this behaviour.

I will check out the link from DrSimon. Don't know why but just didn't think to look at the command line params.

Thanks
