Good day,
I have a Windows 2000 system that lost it's autoexec.nt file and will not run 16 bit programs.
Now before you tell me to try to restore it or check out the Microsoft website etc..., I've done all this already.
The file gets restored properly and we are once again able to run 16 bit applications...
However, when the system gets logged off and then logged back in, the autoexec.nt is no longer to be found. I'm sure this is the result of some spyware program but I'm just wondering if anyone has come up against this...I've checked the registry for the "currentversion" "run" and nothing and I've also run a number of spyware programs on this system...
Is there anyone out there who has experienced this?
Please help...my appreciation for any help in advance...
