autoexec in BE

Hi,

I want to set a 30 day trial limit on a db thats being currently used. Can a autoexec macro still run in the BE once a FE is opened and obviously makes a link to the BE?

The BE autoexec calls a module to only allow it to be opened during a 30 trial period. Any idea's? If this doesn't work could anybody suggest a better way to do a trial period or possibly a maximum record entry lock etc?
