Hi guys,

Got Exchange 2007 (MBX, HT and CAS on one VM) and a 2010 server in the same domain doing the same roles. In the middle of moving from 2007 to 2010.

However we got brought by a new parent company and have moved all computer and user objects into the parent's company domain.

So all objects other than email are in domain A, including users, computers, DNS etc.
However we have an email only domain called domain B. This is where the mailboxes are kept still.

Problem is that the parent domain (Domain A) already has an Exchange 2010 environment. As such they have Autodiscover setup using SCP which is great if you are using their email infrastructure - but if you are using our email infrastructure hosted on Domain B then this is a problem.

What order does Autodiscover search? SCP followed by DNS SRV? We use a different domain name on email for Domain A compared to Domain B. How you would suggest we implement Autodiscover in this environment?

Thanks,

Steve.
