What is the procedure for end users to program autodials on their own phones. The buttons are programmed in software but they want to be able to change the number on the button. They want to add internal and external numbers to the buttons. I read they have to enter the program feature access code but they cannot dial anything after that to programs the button. They are using 9608 sets.

You can assign a program button. Program button + button to program + digits to be dialed + "#

Like "busster" said you can either program a button or your users can dial the FAC for (Program Access Code) and go from there:

Remember button needs to be set for "auto-dial"

i.e:

#0 ( should hear dial tone )
Press button to change or add
Dial number i.e: 92144441234
Press button to change or add again
Press switchook....

Shold be good to go !!!!!!!
