Hi all - before you say it yes 'another printer call !!' :)

We have Citrix 1.8 SP3 on our win2k server - using the latest clients etc. All users the we setup a while back are connecting and the printers are autocreating fine. We have setup a test user in our office so we can try new stuff etc and can we get it to autocreate the printer -- -NO !!!
Its a HP 890c and i know HP dont have a good rep yet we have 950c's and 895c's printing semi-reliably. We have copied all the settings as far as we can see over yet it still wont autocreate - driver names are the same - all options to autocreate are set.. i need help !! :(

Any advise would be great - we are putting a 30 day trial of uni-print on later but Im just curious why it wont work !

Thanks all

Chris

I don't know of any Terminal-Server compliant drivers for those printers - have you aliased them in your wtsuprn.inf files? If not, try that first.

Hope this helps

I have similar issues with other printers which do not autocreate for some users. I have mapped them in my wtsuprn.inf file but it still does not work even for administrator (can't be permissions). All of the syntax is correct so why is the TS not reading the file or can I test to see if it is reading the file?

Thank you

Maybe if you aliased it to a different driver it might work?

Not all HP drivers work on TSE. CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
