I have a database in access 2003 sp2 which has been split into one backend and several frontends. I would like to rename quite a few of the fields in various tables. Does it matter whether I do this by ticking the autocorrect info box and the perform name autocorrect box changes in the options of the backend or frontend database? And if I make changes this way to the backend database will the changes appear in the queries, forms and reports in all the frontend databases? Thank you.

Why would you change fields name ?
Who care the name of a column in a table ?
Anyway have a trusted backup of both BE and FE before playing ...

Hope This Helps, PH.
