I have an employee in transition to a new position who is currently using 2 extensions and mailboxes. I had the mailbox on x76185 programmed to autocopy to x76187, which he plans to use permanently. The 76185 mailbox is not automatically deleting messages once they are copied to 76187 and Telecom is insisting that messages cannot be automatically erased in the 76185 mailbox. I know it is possible, having programmed the feature a number of times, but no longer have access to the system or a manual. Isn't Attribute 49 the one required to add to the COS for mailbox 76185 to correct the problem?

The COS attribute 48 autocopies a message to another mailbox. And the COS attr. 49 deletes the original message in the "first" mailbox. So you are right!

Hi Jon

That it a very good "online" manual.
And of course the manual is always missing, when you want to program!

Thanks Doktor and Johnathan. Prior to posting my question I was told by Telecom staff that not only Telecom but also their Avaya/Octel support "guru" said it was not possible. I insisted they were all wrong and was preparing to spoon feed them through programming it correctly. After 3-4 hours of troubleshooting they were able to program it correctly.....

I appreciate your help and quick responses.
