Forgive me for this simple question, but dense has fallen upon me.
I am using Windows XP & Office 2000. In Outlook there is a feature called "AutoComplete Name Suggesting" which is supposed to be on by default. I cannot seem to find the on/off switch. In researching this issue I found this response from Microsoft on how to turn it off:
On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options, and then click Advanced E-mail Options.
Clear the Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields check box.
I was hoping I could just go there & turn the feature on. I went all the way to Advanced E-mail Options & I have not option called "Suggest names while completing . . . ." This option apparently is not "ON" & I'd like to turn it on. Am I missing something here? Do you have any suggestions on what to do?
Bob
