I recently installed service pack 1 for AutoCAD 2004 and am now experiencing problems plotting the lineweights using a HP Designjet 500. The lineweights plot correctly using an 840C deskjet printer. I have checked all the settings associated with plotting lineweights and have found no problems there. I have also compared the settings of the 840C to those of the Designjet 500 but have found no differences in regard to the plotting of lineweights. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?

This is a known bug with SP1. Autodesk knows about it and is attempting to fix the problem. Either un-install SP1 or wait for the 'patched' SP1 - shouldn't be too long a wait - I think they've got a fix, but are just testing it out. Cheers, Gary.
